Makhana Seed

Makhana, also commonly known as fox nuts or lotus seeds, comes from the plant Euryale ferox, which thrives in the wetlands and ponds of South and East Asia. While they are often called lotus seeds, they actually come from a closely related, giant prickly water lily plant.
